Recently Adobe released a new version of their editing software
called Premiere Pro. This is the successor of Premiere v6.5. With the
introduction of the new version, Adobe also introduced a new plug-in API.
Because the API is changed, the old video server plug-in did not function
properly with Premiere Pro. After a lot of testing and experimenting
we decided to make a separate plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro
because we would not want to jeopardise the stability of the video server plug-in.
Although the GUI of the plug-in looks the same, we had to re-write
a complete new plug-in for Premiere Pro.
After a long period of hard work, we can now present the pre-release
of the Premiere Pro Video Server Plug-in. This plug-in is already
successfully tested by our beta tester team. Therefore this version
is now stable and has no known problems. Currently we are working on
the installer and documentation. When this is finished we will release
the final version.
If you have a key for the basic package (see registration page) and
would like to use this Premiere Pro Video Server Plug-in, please
upgrade your key to the professional package. Due the unexpected
change of the Premiere API (that resulted in a separate version of
the plug-in), we offer a special discount to old users of the plug-in.
So users we already had a registration for the basic package before
November 2003, can now upgrade their key for 10Euro when there key
is not older than half a year. If the key is older than half a year,
they can upgrade their key to the professional package for 15Euro.
