-The Trial period is over.How do I uninstall everything ?
It seems that some installs of windows tries to use our software with programs that have nothing to do with video editing. Therefore you can get very annoying pop ups after the Trial period is expired. As soon as we noticed this, we changed the registration check. So the new versions of our software do not have this annoying pop ups after the Trial period (you if you install a new version, the pop ups are gone). Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you want to un-install the software, please use the add / remove programs function of Windows if you used the installer. If you did install the software by hand, please delete the files that were copied. Please do not forget to remove the AVIwrapper codecs, with the add / remove programs function of Windows. (it is listed by : Video server Wrapper codec (remove only) )

This method is intensely tested, however if this does not work for some reason on your machine, I recommend to install the AVIWrapper codec again, and try to un-install it. If that also fails, please delete the AVIwrap.dll from the system32 directory.

-I am not able to read the wrapper AVI files ?
Please check if the wrapper codecs (client for the server) are installed and work correctly.

-I will get strange error when creating or opening the wrapper AVI files ?
"Cant open because an other process is already using it" 
"Can not open AVIfile for writing. Already in use?"
"Error writing to AVI"
If the proxy server of VirtualDub is enabled, the AVI routines from Windows will not work correctly as described in the readme of VirtualDub. As a result the plugin is not able to create the AVI file correctly. Please run the proxyoff.reg file from the VirtualDub package.

-VirtualDub does not recognize the bits per sample of the audio correctly ?
Turn on "Full processing mode" in the audio menu.
Audio conversion->Precision->16bit.

It is possible to enable a bug workaround for this, but as CCE SP 2.62
crashes with this workaround it is not enabled by default. I will release this
kind of documentation on my site soon.

-I keep on getting CRC errors in Premiere ?
Please run the settings menu of the plugin ones. How, read one on the guides.

-DVDx 1.6 will crash at 99%. ?
This happens if you try to export more frames than there actually are in the DVD-movie. So I recommend that you lower the number of frames, so that the final video will be 30sec shorter than the DVD. (You only skip the "credits"). To date I have not able to
create a workaround for this. Hopefully the author of DVDx will fix this soon.

-Why can I not open the avs file in TMPGEnc ?
Disable the direct show filters within TMPGenc and turn off the Virtualdub proxy before serving

-Encoder/player will not read the AVISynth-script file ?
I noticed that many "new" programs do NOT use the Windows functions to read the AVI-files. If they do NOT use those standard Windows functions the AVISynth-script files will not work. Known programs that do NOT use those routines are CCE SP v2.62, Windows Media Encoder vx.x Furthermore, I heard that there are problems with Windows Media
Player 7. Use the wrapper server mode instead.

-How do I install Avisynth ?

-Does Avisynth work with Windows 2000 ?
Yes, it is tested with Windows 98 SE, Windows NT an Windows 2000

-Does Avisynth  and Windows 2000 work with the Cinemacraft (CCE) SP encoder ?
Yes it works, but you need the run the \SUPPORT\APCOMPAT.exe from the Windows 2000 CDROM with these settings to start CCE.  Also this program requires a lot of RAM.  On my machine it works with 128MB of RAM but the official statement is that is needs 256MB.

-Is there a difference while using the plugin between adobe Premiere and Flask ?
Yes, Flask does not support random access while adobe Premiere does.

-Can you do a dual pass encoding with Flask as frame server ?
Yes, for this you need a special Flask version. This version can be found on the download page. It is tested with TMPGEnc and Cinemacraft (select multipass encoding, remember select 1 pass. It means that first pass a info file is made , and in the second pass the encoding is done.

-How can I solve the lockups while encoding with TMPGEnc12b ?
Disable the direct show/dvd2avi filter. (Or try to disable other filters, of you still run into problems)

-Why appear some white frames in the Encoded MPEG's with TMPGEnc12b ?
The read behavior of TMPGEnc12b is changed. Due the sequential read of Flask some white frames are inserted. In a future release this will be fixed. I you find this annoying just create a project file, and encode in batch encoding mode.

-The sound of the encoded MPEG with TMPGEnc is corrupted, what is wrong ?
The audio sample rate in the project file is different with the one selected in Flask or Premiere. Select the correct one in Flask (48000Hz or 44100Hz) or create a new project file for TMPGEnc. In the project file the sample rate is stored. If you then feed an other sample rate to the encoder the audio is corrupt.

-Why can I not open the avs file in TMPGEnc ?
Select "all files" by type of file when opening the avs file. Then the avs becomes visible and is ready to open.
